Chris Briney has a lifelong passion for music. He first began playing music as a young child. He studied West African Drumming under master drummer Nana Boachie-Yiadom from Ghana, West Africa in his sophomore and junior years in college. Prior to becoming a Yoga Instructor and the Director of Living Tradition Yoga, he taught percussion. He has performed with numerous percussion ensembles and West African Dance Troupes.
